Alex talks about various wrestling notes. The 900th anniversary of RAW was this past Monday. Was it a good show or just a plain odd show? Alex discusses that.
Alex also mentions Luna Vachon's tragic passing, and says that Luna was truly a wrestler, which many women in the business today are not. John Cena's comments comparing the WWE to UFC, the Kane/Undertaker feud, and more is touched upon too.

Alex talks about how the feeling of the "Red Sox being out of it" is really palpable now, even though we knew it was likely going to end this way.
The first 2 games against Baltimore are recapped, with Alex saying that Marco Scutaro's effort is admired, but he should take more days off with his injuries. Alex also analyzes JD Drew's season and mentions that Drew's disappointing year has really flown under the radar. In addition, Alex gives his take on the Manny Delcarmen trade and the "almost" Mike Lowell trade.

Alex talks about a mildly disappointing Summerslam, and how frustrated he was at the lack of clean finishes. Alex also gives his opinion on the decision to have John Cena go over Nexus cleanly in the main event.
The purpose of RAW this week was to re-establish Nexus. The problem was, it was executed terribly. It also could've been easily avoided if Nexus had just won at Summerslam. Does Nexus need a shot in the arm soon?
On Smackdown, it's all about Kane and Undertaker. The good news is, Alberto Del Rio made an impressive debut against Rey Mysterio.

Alex talks about the WWE's final build towards Summerslam, and about how he thinks the build was a success. The crowd reaction this Monday on RAW was all the evidence you need to know that the fans are amped up for the PPV.
Alex also mentions his continued frustration at the lack of character on Smackdown, but praises the way the WWE handled The Miz this past Monday. They have to continue to be really careful about booking him.
Alex gives his Summerslam predictions, and tells us how the Nexus vs. "Team Cena" match should end. In addition, he discusses Linda McMahon's Senate campaign, and what is fair to attack her on and what isn't as far as her involvement with the WWE.

Alex analyzes the results, including The Miz capturing the MITB briefcase, and how big a deal it is considering how The Miz began his wrestling career. Alex also wonders who they'll book the Randy Orton/Sheamus feud, and who will eventually be revealed as the man behind Nexus.
Kane capturing the World Heavyweight Championship is brought up too, and Alex says he doesn't have a problem with Kane being given a title reign. He just has a problem if it is revealed that Kane is the man who took The Undertaker. Alex thinks that is a real opportunity to elevate somebody like Jack Swagger.

Alex recaps the past few weeks in WWE TV, including the direction of the Nexus storyline. Could they finally be building towards something?
